About Me

Hi! Welcome to Tutu’s and Thyme! I’m Amanda, a thirty-something, single Mom navigating parenthood, one day at a time. My daughter, Harper, and I live in a tiny town in Oklahoma. I’m a WWBWM. In my world that translates to “Work While Baby Wearing Mom”. It’s a unique, challenging, and fun adventure all rolled into one.
My motherhood journey began a bit, ok a lot, rocky and has been equally eventful along the way. My blog is about that ever- changing journey. Aside from the general thoughts one has pre-baby a big question kept popping into my mind. How do you become a “yes” parent and allow your “little” to enjoy the whimsy of being a child, while there seems to be unhealthy everything and safe nothing spinning all around us? And better yet, how do you do it on a budget? I don’t have the answers yet, but I’m going to give it my best effort to find them and I’m documenting it here. And while I’m figuring it all out I have to feed her. We’ll be cooking up some tasty food. So stay tuned while we try to keep the crumbs off our tutu’s!
